Embrace the Power of Prayer at Amazing Grace

At Amazing Grace Lutheran Church, prayer is at the heart of everything we do. Our church was built on a foundation of prayer, with blessings written on the very stones and girders of our building. We believe in the power of prayer and invite you to be a part of our ongoing commitment to lift up our church family, friends, and community in prayer.

AGLC Prayer Team

Pray without ceasing! Here at Amazing Grace, our very foundation has been built on the Word of God, the saving grace of Jesus our Lord, and prayer—lots of prayer! Under the beauty of the building, there are prayers written on stones, cement, and metal girders. Continuing our relationship with the Lord is a Prayer Team. The members of AGLC, their families, friends, and acquaintances will be continuously held in prayer in several different ways.

Will you join us?

AGLC’s Prayer Team consists of four groups of prayerfully devoted people:

Sunday morning pray-ers: Available to pray with you after each Worship Service.

Prayer Warriors: A team devoting time to daily prayer over needs provided.

Prayer Vigils: Times of celebration, need, and discernment.

Prayer Shawls: Hand-knitted and crocheted for those in need of prayer and comfort. We meet on the third Monday of the month at 3:00 pm at the church.

If you would like to be a part of the Prayer Team, or if you or someone you know is in need of prayer, please contact the Church Office at 352-748-1201 or office@amazinggracelc.org. We are looking for those who want to pray for others, like to organize events such as prayer vigils, and those who want to knit/crochet prayer shawls. May the Lord bless your service if you are called to become a part of this Prayer Team.
